Harmon The name Harmon in Ireland is sometimes a variant of the name Hardiman but was also brought to the country by settlers from England, where it is a form of the German name Herreman, meaning 'warrior'. Harman is mostly found in Leinster Province whilst Harmon is mainly confined to County Louth.
