Lambert The name Lambert in Ireland is usually of English origin having been brought to the country by settlers especially during the seventeenth century. The main settlement points were in Leinster Province and in Counties Galway and Mayo in the West of the country. It is in these Counties that the majority of descendants can still today be found.
