Arundel Family History

The name Arundel in Ireland is often of immigrant origin having been introduced into the Province of Ulster by settlers from England and Scotland, especially during the seventeenth century. Arundel has been associated with County Cork since as early as the thirteenth century where it was Gaelicized as 'Airinneal' and is pronounced 'Aringale'.
